Does not always automatically reacquire GPS signal

Description

Hi,

I'm having a problem on my BB 8130 (Pearl, OS V. 4.3.0.66, Bell Canada, internal GPS) where it stops tracking after a random period of time (I have had tracks anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes). I'm guessing that it is loosing the signal and doesn't recover / start tracking again once the signal returns (typically I'm using it while hiking / mountain biking).

Thanks.

I am having this same problem with the latest version (0.5.3.1) on a Blackberry Bold 9000, OS 4.6.0.167, internal GPS. I find that my unit will lose the GPS fix, and not always recover it when the signal comes back.

However, if I re-initialize the GPS signal using another application (e.g. Google Maps), then BB tracker automatically starts tracking again. It seems BB Tracker needs some sort of detection of when the GPS signal has been lost and that it needs to tell the GPS chip to reacquire.

Note that this happens intermittently, but seems to happen more often when the signal goes out for long periods of time (on the order of an hour).

All of this said, I have been able to get continuous tracks for 4 hours at a time with no problem, with some loss of signal in between.

I wanted to add a "me too" to this... I have the same problem, it doesn't seem to like losing GPS signal for an extended period of time, after it loses it's fix, it does not seem like it will get it back unless it's re-initialized by an application such as Google Maps or the new camera (it geotags)

My Bb: 8130 Pearl, OS 4.5.something, latest (as of this post) bbTracker.
